Bhava Yoga (“we”, “our” or “us”) recognise the trust you are placing in us through your dealings with us. We do everything we can to maintain that trust and protect information about you. Scope of our Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect, store, maintain and use about you as our customers, visitors to our website, social media and other digital services, job applicants and members of the public.

When do we collect information about you?

At times, we are required to collect personal information in the normal course of providing services for our customers.

  • Booking or enquiring about classes, retreats and workshops

  • Maintaining detailed information on our websites

What information do we collect?

  • your gender, birth date and occupation;

  • the date and time you access our sites;

  • the internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our sites;

  • other information you may supply to us.
     

Why do we collect this information?
 

We use the information to customise our services and plan product development so that we can provide you with relevant consumer information and notify you of services and special offers that may be of interest to you. It is also collected so that we may provide value-added services and marketing and remarketing through our websites or other social media channels.
 

How do we store your data?
 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

Do we share personal information with third parties?
 

We may disclose information we hold to our employees and other associated companies for business purposes and marketing or remarketing purposes through our websites or other social media channels. We may also disclose information to third party service providers or contractors.

Sometimes we use third party platforms and services to process sales, store and analyse data and information, provide web support, send marketing messages, deliver products or otherwise deliver information. These services are hosted and managed by organisations other than ourselves, and some of these services are hosted overseas.

Your personal information may be stored in a secure and encrypted form overseas (e.g. in data storage and cloud computing facilities operated by us (or by third parties on our behalf).

We will also disclose information to a law enforcement agency if we are requested to do so by that agency in relation to suspected unlawful activity.

We will not sell or trade your personal information.
